W.T Woodson High School, In Fairfax County, Virginia needed an eco-friendly update for its restrooms For a successful project, two major criteria needed to be met. First and foremost, the solution needed to be energy and water efficient. Secondly, with over 2,000 students, W.T Woodson needed a solution that was highly durable.
Dulles Plumbing Group replaced 103 flush valves in the school with products from TOTO, saving energy two-fold. The newly installed valves are hydro-powered rather than battery powered meaning the power supply is charged by the water flow within. Secondly, the valves themselves are designed to be water efficient. In addition, using the hands-free solution keeps the restrooms clean – vital in such a highly populated environment.
